2010 New York Rangers preseason schedule

The New York Rangers announced their 2010 preseason schedule.

From the team's official news release:

New York Rangers president and general manager Glen Sather announced the 2010 pre-season schedule today, featuring three games at Madison Square Garden and a total of six games in 10 days.

The Rangers 2010 pre-season schedule will consist of three home-and-home sets, opening against the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, September 23rd, before traveling to Newark on Saturday, September 25th.

New York will then head to Detroit to face the Red Wings on Sunday, September 26th, before returning home for the second of their two matchups on Wednesday, September 29th.

The Rangers will wrap up their pre-season schedule with back-to-back games against the Senators, Friday, October 1st in New York and Saturday, October 2nd at Ottawa.

The 2010 New York Rangers training camp begins with players reporting to the Madison Square Garden Training Center on Friday, September 17th.


The Rangers' 2010 preseason schedule is as follows:

September 23 - vs. New Jersey, 7:00 PM
September 25 - at New Jersey, 7:00 PM
September 26 - at Detroit, 5:00 PM
September 29 - vs. Detroit, 7:00 PM
October 1 - vs. Ottawa, 7:00 PM
October 2 - at Ottawa, 7:00 PM
