2010 Edmonton Oilers preseason schedule

The Edmonton Oilers announced their 2010 preseason schedule.

From the team's official news release:

The Edmonton Oilers will begin their 32nd season in the NHL with a six-game pre-season schedule, which includes four games at home at Rexall Place and two on the road.

Edmonton will open the 2010-2011 pre-season with a date in Vancouver against the Canucks on Wednesday, September 22nd. The next night, newly appointed general manager Steve Yzerman and his Tampa Bay Lightning will be at Rexall Place to start a four-game homestand.

Sunday, September 26th will see the Canucks visit Rexall Place, followed by the Phoenix Coyotes facing off against the Oilers on Wednesday, September 29th.

The 2010-2011 pre-season concludes with a home and home "Battle of Alberta". The Oilers host the Calgary Flames on Friday, October 1st and make a trip down south to faceoff against the Flames at the Pengrowth Saddledome on Sunday, October 3rd.


The Oilers' 2010 preseason schedule is as follows:

September 22 - at Vancouver, TBD
September 23 - vs. Tampa Bay, 9:00 PM
September 26 - vs. Vancouver, 8:00 PM
September 29 - vs. Phoenix, 9:00 PM
October 1 - vs. Calgary, 9:00 PM
October 3 - at Calgary, TBD
