The Columbus Blue Jackets announced their 2010 preseason schedule.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will play a nine-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to their 10th National Hockey League season, the club announced today. The Blue Jackets' home schedule features visits from three Eastern Conference opponents – Washington Capitals (September 22nd), Pittsburgh Penguins (September 24) and Atlanta Thrashers (October 2) – as well as the Minnesota Wild (September 28). The club's final preseason game will be against a unified team comprised of two Swedish teams - the Malmö Redhawks and Rogle BK - Malmö, Sweden on Tuesday, October 5.

September 22 - vs. Washington, 7:00 PM
September 24 - vs. Pittsburgh, 7:00 PM
September 25 - at Pittsburgh, 7:00 PM
September 28 - vs. Minnesota, 7:00 PM
September 30 - at Minnesota, 8:00 PM
October 1 - at Washington, 7:00 PM
October 2 - vs. Atlanta, 6:00 PM
October 5 - vs. Malmo/Rogle BK (Malmö, Sweden), 1:00 PM
