2010 Carolina Hurricanes preseason schedule

The Carolina Hurricanes announced their 2010 preseason schedule.

From the team's official news release:

Jason Karmanos, vice president and assistant general manager for the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced the team's 2010 exhibition schedule.

The Hurricanes will open the preseason at the RBC Center on Tuesday, September 21st at 7:00 PM against the Florida Panthers. Carolina will then play games on three consecutive nights, Thursday, September 23rd at Nashville, Friday, September 24th against the Predators and Saturday, September 25th at Atlanta. The Hurricanes will travel to South Florida to face the Panthers on Wednesday, September 29th before hosting the Thrashers in Raleigh on October 1st.

Following their game on October 1st, the Hurricanes will travel to St. Petersburg, Russia for an exhibition game against SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) at Ledovy Arena on October 4th as a part of the 2010 NHL Premiere Challenge.


The Hurricanes' 2010 preseason schedule is as follows:
(game start times are in Eastern Time)

September 21 - vs. Florida, 7:00 PM
September 23 - at Nashville, 8:00 PM
September 24 - vs. Nashville, 7:00 PM
September 25 - at Atlanta, 7:00 PM
September 29 - at Florida, 7:00 PM
October 1 - vs. Atlanta, 1:30 PM
October 4 - at SKA St. Petersburg (in St. Petersburg, Russia), TBA
