The Detroit Red Wings announced their 2011 preseason schedule. They are the away team for their September 22nd game in London, Ontario.

The Red Wings today announced their return to the ice with their 2011-2012 preseason schedule. The home lineup includes two Friday night contests vs. Philadelphia and Toronto and two Sunday afternoon tilts vs. Chicago and Pittsburgh.
The road swing includes a special contest vs. the Flyers in London, Ontario, at the John Labatt Centre.
On-sale dates for individual preseason games have not been announced.
The Red Wings' 2011 preseason schedule is as follows:

September 21 - at Pittsburgh, 7:00 PM
September 22 - vs. Philadelphia (in London, Ontario), 7:00 PM
September 23 - vs. Philadelphia, 7:30 PM
September 25 - vs. Chicago, 4:00 PM
September 28 - at Chicago, 8:30 PM
September 30 - vs. Toronto, 7:30 PM
October 1 - at Toronto, 7:00 PM
October 2 - vs. Pittsburgh, 4:00 PM
