The Colorado Avalanche announced their upcoming 2010 preseason schedule. They are the away team for the upcoming Frozen Fury 14 game on October 1st.

In addition to its regular season schedule, the Avalanche also announced today its preseason schedule for 2011-2012. Colorado will play a total of six exhibition games, meeting Dallas, Los Angeles and St. Louis twice each. Colorado's preseason home dates are Friday, September 23rd vs. St. Louis; Sunday, September 25th vs. Dallas and Wednesday, September 28th vs. Los Angeles. The Avs will conclude the exhibition slate with the annual Frozen Fury matchup against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, October 1st at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The Avalanche's 2011 preseason schedule is as follows:

September 22 - at Dallas, 8:30 PM
September 23 - vs. St. Louis, 9:00 PM
September 25 - vs. Dallas, 8:00 PM
September 28 - vs. Los Angeles, 9:00 PM
September 29 - at St. Louis, 8:00 PM
October 1 - vs. Los Angeles (in Las Vegas), 9:00 PM
