The Washington Capitals announced their 2010 preseason schedule.

The Washington Capitals 2010 preseason schedule features six games against three opponents and includes three games at Verizon Center.
The Caps play their first preseason game on the road at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 22nd, at the Columbus Blue Jackets. The team's preseason home opener at Verizon Center is Tuesday, September 28th at 7:00 PM against the Boston Bruins.
In addition to playing both Columbus and Boston twice, the Caps also have a home-and-home series with the Nashville Predators, beginning with a road game at Nashville on Saturday, September 25th at 7:00 PM.
The Capitals were 4-2 in the preseason last year and their all-time preseason record is 135-111-29-9.
Audio from every preseason game will be broadcast live on WashingtonCaps.com. The complete 2010-2011 NHL regular season schedule will be released tomorrow.

September 28 - vs. Boston, 7:00 PM
